Welcome to Milagros Mexican Folk Art

We offer a variety of hand-picked collections from some of the most renowned artisans in Mexico with whom we’ve built relationships over the past 30 years. Mexican folk art is distinguished by its uninhibited use of color, mischievous creativity, and sense of humor unique to this particular culture.

Our physical store is located in downtown Seattle, and we carry a variety of Mexican art, including Oaxacan Animal Wood Carvings, Day of the Dead, Huichol Yarn Paintings and Bead Work, Jewelry, Talavera Pottery, Tinwork, and so much more.

Milagros’ owners—Heather Stockdale and her husband, Tom Perilstein—have been been taking road trips throughout Mexico since the 1980s, falling in love with the country’s art and culture. Learn more about how Milagros came to be, and meet the artisans from whom we source our beautiful pieces.

The Artisans

The art in our store is made by Mexican artisans who we’ve known and shared friendships with for 30 years. We are proud to support their crafts and share them with the world.
