Exquisite nativity scene intricately hand beaded on clay base by the Huichol Indians. Tiny glass beads have been set individually into a blend of beeswax and pine resin in designs sacred to the Huichol Indians.

The Huichol Indians are a proud indigenous people found in the Sierra Madre regions of Nayarit and Jalisco. They have no written language and communicate with the spirit world through symbols and rituals.
